Course Overview

Are you a current or future manager? This program offers you training in people management, personal development and workplace technical skills. This program is designed for current working managers or people with previous management experience.

You will gain important career skills like:

Why should I study this course?

Good management is crucial to the success of any organisation. This course will teach you all the basics for managerial success which will help you to work in HR, marketing, international business, or any general management role. This course includes units such as managing budgets, monitoring performance, managing projects, recruitment and induction of staff and developing workplace policy.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply knowledge, practical skills and experience in leadership and management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.

Individuals at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.

What is the Course Structure?

This course consists of 12 units,4 units are core and 8 units are elective. Students must successfully complete all units to gain their qualification.

Training delivery consists of formal structured training and assessment of the practical application of the theoretical knowledge acquired through the structure training over the duration of the training program.


Full time: 40 tuition Weeks
Part Time: Up to 2 years

Assessment Method

Assessment is based on competency (the ability to demonstrate specific skills) and is undertaken through a combination which may consist of classroom observation, discussion, case studies, role plays & written assignments and the work placement.
